South Africa

26th June - 16th July

Genesis is once again offering an incredible and exclusive experience for Summer 2019 with a trip to South Africa! Tour this stunning country for 3 weeks, enjoy the unique sights and a diverse range of outdoor activities, volunteer and make a meaningful impact to local communities, visit a safari park, spend time with locals and take part in a dynamic Jewish educational programme with a wide range of world class speakers!

We'll be based in Johannesburg for most of the trip. On arrival we'll spend a few days acclimatising to the country with some local tours & activities etc.

The social action component of the trip will give you the opportunity to engage in a meaningful local project and do something this summer to be really proud of. You'll learn about the immense challenges that South Africa faces and from our base you'll travel each day over the next couple of weeks to neighbouring areas to volunteer in local communities helping in projects focused on children and young people.

We'll also be spending a few days on Safari at the famous Kruger Safari Park! Throughout the trip there will be a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities including bowling, drum workshops, go-karting, zorbing, theme parks and more!

Alongside the activities throughout the trip our team will be providing a unique and inspiring educational programme making the most of the beautiful and powerful backdrop that is South Africa. We'll have access to some of the best Jewish speakers in the world and we'll meet and hear from many of the people that make a huge positive difference on a global scale. We'll also get to enjoy a variety of Shabbat experiences in a range of locations and communities.

Flights can be extended if participants want to stay out in South Africa after the trip finishes. Apply now or contact us if you have any questions.
